Disclosures & methodology

The full legal and methodology basis behind every grade on x402 Doctor, the Verified registry, and the Scan leaderboard — moved here so each graded page reads clean, one click from a full explanation.

First-party & self-reported (Verified registry)
First-party, self-reported: every row below is a Stelar Digital-owned endpoint, graded and published by Stelar Digital. This is NOT independent third-party verification — no outside auditor has confirmed these grades. No third-party endpoint has completed the paid Conformance Report yet, which is why this table currently lists only our own routes; a third-party row would carry the same "first-party" / independent labeling honestly once one exists. See the separate, third-party-only free Doctor Scan leaderboard for automated grades on endpoints we do not own.
Scope of a Verified-registry row
Scope: this row records a completed check of this resource URL, at the UTC datetime shown, against check version conformance-v2-2026-07-31 — tested on that date, against that rubric, nothing more. It is not an endorsement, not a security audit, not independent third-party verification, and not a guarantee of present availability — endpoints can change or go down after their verified timestamp. Re-verify to refresh a row.
Scope of a Doctor Scan row
This is the free automated scan of third-party endpoints. Full Conformance Verification — the badge + a listing on our Verified registry — requires the paid Conformance Report.
Scope: automated free Doctor scan (check version doctor-free-v1) against each endpoint's live 402 response at the UTC datetime shown per row, publicly listed third-party hosts only. Grades and summaries are factual, generated straight from the check output — not hand-edited. 30 candidate URLs were probed this run; 3 were dropped (dead, retired, or not the vendor's actual x402-gated resource) rather than graded F for our own discovery miss, and are not counted toward the 25 published rows above. Re-run any row free, any time. This is not the paid Conformance Report and carries no badge or Verified-registry listing on its own.
Methodology (check version doctor-free-v1)

Every grade on this page comes from a scripted probe of the resource's live HTTP response, graded against these checks: reachable (no bot-wall/timeout), returns_402 (HTTP 402 on an unauthenticated request), valid_json_challenge (a real x402 challenge, not just any parseable body), challenge_in_body, x402_version, accepts_complete, network_caip2, input_schema, and discovery_doc (does /.well-known/x402 list this exact resource). The paid Conformance Report additionally checks settlement_completeness and sweeps every other resource the discovery doc lists. Score = checks passed (warn = half credit) ÷ checks run. Grade bands: A ≥97%, B ≥85%, C ≥70%, D ≥50%, below that is F. Run the same checks live: x402 Doctor (run your own URL free, any time, and see the same checks fire).

The recommendation field

The response's recommendation field (ready / fix-required / proceed / promising-unproven / non-conformant / needs-input) describes conformance and monitoring signal only — it is not a recommendation to transact, or not transact, with any business.

Opinion & no-warranty disclaimer
Opinion & no-warranty disclaimer

Every grade on this page is Stelar Digital's opinion of how the named endpoint performed against our published, versioned test protocol, on the date(s) shown. We are not a government agency, standards body, or accreditation authority, and no grade here is an attestation, guarantee, endorsement, or a statement that any transaction with this endpoint will be safe, reliable, or complete.

Each grade is derived solely from the disclosed, reproducible checks described in Methodology above, run at the timestamp shown — we do not rely on undisclosed information or third-party complaints. No fee, ad purchase, or accreditation relationship of any kind affects any score. We investigate and correct factual errors; the correction channel is in Methodology above, and corrections are dated with the original finding preserved, never silently edited.

This page and its grades are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, and reflect a snapshot in time that may not reflect current conditions. Nothing on this page is financial, legal, or investment advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to transact, or not transact, with any business or endpoint.

We run this business on these rails ourselves — live endpoints, open-source receipts, honest numbers.
