Two things, in opposite directions: it adds a “notify me when back in stock” signup to sold-out products and variants on your storefront and emails those shoppers when you restock, and it emails you the moment any product or variant drops below your low-stock threshold.
Does Low Stock Alerts & Notify Me work on variants, or only whole products?
Every variant. The signup appears on each sold-out variant, not just on the product as a whole, so a shopper waiting on one size or colour is told about that one.
Does Low Stock Alerts & Notify Me send SMS or push notifications?
No. Email only — plus Slack or your own systems on Pro. If your alerts have to go out by SMS or push, this is the wrong app for you.
